Our Place: An All Addictions Teen Recovery Support Group
Responding to the growing need for youth recovery support services, LAYSB is providing a safe, secure, and confidential place just for teens.
“OUR PLACE” provides an opportunity for teens to gain insight into the process of their own recovery and to practice their potential to live a life free of addiction.
Using a 12-step group approach, teens can share their experiences, strength, and hope in an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging.
The group is overseen by caring volunteers who are familiar with group facilitation, the 12 steps process, and have a passion to assist our youth in gaining freedom from the devastating consequences of addiction.
Who can attend? Teens ages 13-19 who have a desire to remain abstinent from drugs, alcohol, and other addictive behaviors.
The group is also inclusive of teens who are struggling due to a loved one’s addiction.
Where is the group held? Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau, 244 N. Lake St. in Forest Lake
When? Every Tuesday from 6:00 pm – 7:30pm
