PARENT SUPPORT MEETINGS

As a parent of a teenager, have you sometimes wished that you could talk to someone who has been through the experience and could help you decide how to handle different situations?  Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau is offering Parent Support Meetings every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 7:30pm.  It is FREE!  Come to the office at 244 North Lake Street in Forest Lake and bring your questions and frustrations.  Jackie Hays, Parent Education and Support Coordinator, will be available to discuss your parenting challenges and possible ways to handle them.  If you have questions or concerns, call Jackie at 651-464-3685.  No pre-registration required.

TELEPHONE CONSULTATION

Parents may become overwhelmed and stressed because of a parenting issue or crisis and feel a need to talk to someone who is knowledgeable about child development and trained to deal with behavioral problems. Trained staff will respond to a phone call or walk-in consultation. There is no charge for this service.
