Partners for the Future Permanent Fund

Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau (LAYSB) has established a Partner’s for the Future Permanent Fund through the Saint Croix Valley Foundation (www.scvfoundation.org).

This Permanent Fund is intended to strengthen the agency long-term so that our important work can be continued well into the future. The principle will not be used for annual programming and cannot ever be used unless approved by the Board of Directors.  Annual interest earnings generated from the permanent fund will be used to stabilize current programs and provide support for new initiatives that ensure the success of youth.

Partners for the Future Permanent Fund will help to:

• Accommodate a growth in clientele anticipated by the steady growth of communities in our service area.
• Allow the agency to develop programs to address the growing need for after school and summer enrichment programs, particularly for 13-16 year old youth.
• Address needs which are identified by clients and community trends
• Provide funding for proactive program development (earnings only)
• Expand LAYSB’s ability to meet identified community needs as they arise in the future.

DONOR RECOGNITION

Names of donors giving more than $250 will be added to our Partners for the Future Wall of Honor. This plaque is hanging proudly in the reception area of LAYSB offices. Donors of $1,000 or more will receive special recognition.
