Field Trip to the MN State Capitol 3/7/12

Who: 7th-12th Grade Students Living in the Forest Lake Area School District and/or Chisago County

Where: Central Learning Center’s Cafeteria & the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul

When: Wednesday, March 7, 2012 (Spring Break for Forest Lake & NLA) 9:15am-3:00pm

Don’t miss this opportunity to visit the State Capitol building in St. Paul! You’ll get to meet with your local senators and representatives to learn about the work they do as well as talk to them about the importance of out-of-school time programming for teens.  You’ll also go on a guided tour of the building from the Minnesota Historical Society. Meet at 9:15am in the Central Learning Center’s cafeteria (200 SW 4th St., Forest Lake, Door 1) and then we will be traveling to and from St. Paul by a Forest Lake Area Schools bus or van. Pick up will be at 3:00pm at the Central Learning Center. Photos of students will be taken and used for promotional purposes by Forest Lake Area Schools Community Education and Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau.

Bring a bag lunch! There is no cost to attend this field trip.
